Program at: Bismillah Compound Ground, Near
Bandra Station. The key speaker Shaykh Abu Zaid Zameer spoke,
"History repeats itself. It is important for us to see
how Shirk began, since people will go back into shirk for the
same reasons they went into it the first time." In the
Open Question and Answer Session he responded calmly with evidence
to the several challenging questions raised by the audience."
An audience of over 1500 people benefitted from the program
at a jam-packed venue. |

In the current scenario in India, a very
big misconception about Islam is that it allows terrorism. In
this program, Shaykh Arshad Madni while quoting extensively
from the Qur'an and other religious scripture schowed that all
religions oppose terrorism. However islam also shows practical
methods of avoiding terrorism.
Brother Zaid Patel quoted 20 evidences from the Qur'an and the
Saheeh hadith which show the degree to which Islam has opposed
terrorism.
People from different religions asked challenging
questions on the subject during the question and answer time.
A large audience from different religious backgrounds attended
the program. |
Shaykh Arshad Madani (Hyderabad) a graduate from
Madina University, also an MBA working as a Business Development
Manager (software) in Hyderabad spoke on this contemporary topic
of Interest, Insurance and the Share Market and the Islamic rulings
regarding them.
Brother Zaid showed the destruction caused by Interest in the
modern financial world.
The program was followed by an open Question and answer session.
This Program was in fulfillment of a promise made by Mr Zaid Patel
at the earlier Program of 31st August that another special program
will be held to satisfy questions regarding the subject. |

The Islamic ideals of what is expected from women
is very different from what the western world believes in today.
Brother Zaid presented the various rights and duties of women
as a daughter, wife, mother, before her Lord, as a member in society,
in Dawah. Shaykh Saeed presented the sad plight of women before
Islam and compared that with the status of women in Islam.
During the question time various direct questions on the subject
were answered. |
Shaykh Fazlur Rahmaan, principal of Jamia Mohammadia the Islamic
University of Malegaon was supposed to address the audience on
he subject of "Interest Insurance and Share Market".
However he could not make it since he was exteremely sick in the
day. Shaykh Abdul Hakeem Madani who has written a book on the
subject stepped in at the last minute and spoke on the subject.
Brother Zaid spoke "All forms of business are Halaal, what
is Haraam has been mentioned." He mentioned various forms
of Haraam earnings some of which are largely unknown by people.
The time was exhausted in the talks and a question answer session
could not take place.
Brother Zaid promised the audience that there will be a special
program soon on the subject, "Interest Insurance and Share
market" to satisfy the need for information on the subject.
